The Auto Update Groups function |

Each data field has a Group property which is used in lists where you choose a field (for example when creating a report or a sort order) to group the fields in the list.
By default, the group corresponds to the tab the field is located on in the data entry window. If you move a field from one tab to another, you should always update the Group property of the field. You can do this manually by right-clicking the field and choosing Properties from the popup menu, and then modify the Group property, or you can use the Auto Update Groups function:
| 1. | Choose Auto Update Groups from the File menu. Confirm by clicking Yes. StampCAT automatically updates the Groups property of all fields on the form. The group is set to the title of the tab page the field is located on. If a field is placed directly on the form, the group is set to an empty value. |
