To backup a database |

| 1. | Choose Backup Database from the File menu. You see the 'Backup Database to' window. |
| 2. | Select the drive and folder where you want to backup the database to. |
| 3. | In the File name text box, type the name of the backup file. By default, StampCAT uses the same name as the database. |
| 4. | Click Save. Follow the instructions StampCAT gives you. |
StampCAT backs up the database to a standard zip file. Please note that StampCAT only backs up the database itself, any external files (images, audio files, etc.) that the database links to are not backed up.
