To use the Summary search

1.Choose Summary from the Search menu.
 
You see the 'Summary Search' window.
2.From the drop-down list to the left, select the field you want to search in.
 
In the list below, SoftCAT displays all unique values from the selected field.
3.Select operator from the drop-down list on the right.
4.From the list below, select the value you want to search for.
5.To search the subset only, select the Search subset check box.
6.If you want SoftCAT to mark all records found in the search, and then show these records (activate the subset), select the Show all check box.
7.Press the Search button to execute the search.
