Instead of manually adding programs, you can also let the program auto catalog installed programs.
| 1. | Make sure the Program View is active. |
| 2. | Choose Add from the Program menu. SoftCAT activates the Program data entry window. You are now ready to begin adding information. Notice how the title of the window displays (New Record). This indicates that a new record is added, but it has not yet been saved. |
| 3. | Specify the relevant information about the program. |
You do not need to manually save the record, SoftCAT will automatically save any changes when you choose one of the menu options, or close the window.
