	Program View From the Program View you add and edit your software. You can use filters to only display specific programs (for example only "new" programs). In this example the grouping list to the left shows all program categories (you can group on almost any data field). Simply click on a category to display the programs in this category.
	Program Edit window This is the Program Edit window where you enter information about your software. SoftCAT has a comprehensive set of data fields enabling you to catalog a wide range of information: program title, version, publisher, platform, type (commercial, freeware, shareware, etc.), category (Games, Desktop Enhancements, Utilities, etc.), language, keywords, price, installation date, installation folder, product homepage, serial number, registration name, download link, and much more.
	Auto-Catalog window The auto-catalog function will search your computer for installed programs and automatically add the programs to the database. If available, SoftCAT will read the title, version number, publisher, and icon from the program file. (Not included in SoftCAT Free)
	Lookup View (Category) From the Lookup View you edit data in the various lookup tables (Category, Keyword, Media, Platform, Publisher, etc.). SoftCAT uses a relational database model. SoftCAT automatically creates a link between the program and the entry in the lookup table. When you edit the lookup table, for example, to fix a typing error, the change will be reflected in all fields that are linked to the lookup table.
	Explorer View The Explorer View allows you can easily search/browse your database in a familiar browser interface. From the home page you can search by various fields, including category, release year and title, and browse your database by category, keyword, publisher and title.
	Explorer View Here we are searching for titles containing the word "cat".
	Explorer View And ere we are exploring one of the programs found in the search ("CATraxx"). Notice all the hyperlinks you can click. You can for example click the publisher link to display other software titles by the same publisher, or the category link to display other programs in the same category.
	Form Designer Use the Form Designer to redesign the field layout in all data entry windows! (Not included in SoftCAT Free)
	Report Designer SoftCAT allows you to create your own reports with exactly the layout you want, or you can use one of the more than 30 pre-defined reports. You have full control of data fields, groups, sort order, columns, fonts, colors, paper size, margins and print orientation. This example shows a simple report that prints a list of your software grouped by the first letter of the program title. (Not included in SoftCAT Free)
	Database Setup window From the Database Setup window you can customize the tables and fields: Change field names, set default values, hide fields you don’t need, etc.
	HTML Export Window You can easily export data to a set of HTML pages you can upload to any web site.
	HTML Export - Result This is an example of the output using the Overview export template. The list at the top of the window gives you the ability to filter by the first letter of the program title. The list on the left shows the various programs. Click a program title to display the detail page.
