On some systems SoftCAT is unable to use the Access 95 (Jet 3.0) database engine ("Out of memory") - this usually happens if you have more than 756MB of memory.
To tell SoftCAT to use the Access 2000 engine instead:
| • | If you are using SoftCAT version 2 or 3, simply choose Change Database Engine from the Tools menu and select Jet 4.0. |
| • | If you are using another version, download JetVersion, run it, select Application/SoftCAT and Use Jet Version/4.0, then click Update. |
