I'm used to make back-ups very often, fortunately, becouse few days ago I lost my HD with all CAT datas and Covers.<br>
I have copies of both the DBs and the Cover folders so I've been able to restore all at the same place with the links to the covers too. The only "strange" thing I note after a restore is that all seems working fine except for the choices made in the Preferences Menu.... <br>
CAT's restore the "default" preferences ( as the ones in the Sample DB ) and not the ones I made: colours, Reference No.,<br>
multiple artist (&.+,etc..)..... Is there a way to have this linked to the DB too ? I ask this becouse it's frustrating re-correct the items that have not been proberly updated. For exemple if I do't remember to control the Preferences and I download from CDDB, then the items are stored in my DB with the wrong reference no, showing U-117 instead of 06157....<br>

No, the preferences settings are stored in the Windows Registry (except the "last used" reference number which are stored in the database).

OK. Thanx. I've added a " __Remember PREFERENCES ! " empty folder in my back-up folders so I won't forget it anymore...<br>
