Post Transfer between Windows 7 and Windows XP?

Is it possible to transfer data between BookCAT databases (.mdb)
on 2 home computers running different OS (Windows 7 and WinXP)?

Thank you.

Yes, as long as both computers run the same version of BookCAT.

Thanks Fredrik, the Window7 and WinXP
BookCAT GUI look different (there are
different fields and options) but they both
come from the same installation, so I
suppose it is OK? After backing up the
Win7 mdb I made the transfer from WinXP
to Win7 which seemed to complete OK. I guess
when one db gets merged/overwritten by
another of a different type some fields might
get omitted.

The user interface might look slightly different on Win 7 and XP, but it should have the same fields and options. You can check the version number by choosing About from the Help menu.

Yes, when you overwrite the db on the Win 7 machine, the database will show exactly the same fields / data as on the WinXP database.

Thanks Fredrik. I'm very impressed with BookCAT in every way.
I can and do recommend it to friends and colleagues.
