Running CATraxx 9.35 on Windows XP SP 3. I upgraded ti this version on 3/21/2012 and i have been having some minor problems since then. Programs open/close/respond very slowly. Now i have been experiencing problems stated above.
i am manually adding new albums and all at once data disappears. Info that has been there for years vanishes. Also in the album view the fields are mis-aligned.Really hard to explain.
I have restored a backup file several times and all goes well for awhile and then it all goes to hell. i have about 200 files with Artist missing and i had the same thing happen twice before.
Would like some help because this is a real problem.
I also did a data base repair and that did not help.

Try transferring all data to a new database with File=>Transfer, then open this db via File=>Open Database.

Thanks for your help, but problem maybe solved. Went back and manually corrected all of the files that ere screwed up. did a back-up and started up dating. so far so good. If the problem occurs again will use you suggestion and set-up a new data base.
