recently upgraded to V9.33 from V8.32. Now i encounter a problem with mp3s which only contain ID3v1 Tags - seem to be all infos are vanished/not imported when using "Scan folder - add audio files". I've read here serveral problems, which perhaps similar to my.
I've testing a little bit with both versions, and come to the conclusion that ID3v1 are not supported anymore. That a problem, because when you edit the tags in Catraxx9 it update only the ID3v2/4 fields leaving the ID3v1 untouched. This resulting in different information, which is not my goal because i using the ID3v1 as fallback - not as hidden info.
So before i go any futher, let me ask:
- Does v9.x support ID3v1 in any way? - the ID3v1 checkbox is gone too
- If not, are plans available to bring back this support?
