 Audio Editor
Not sure how other users use their audio files but there's no way I would attach my entire library with full length audio files. I am attaching 30 second clips which is very useful as a preview of the music. It would be very useful if the ability to trim each file to a set length with one click was in Catraxx. Right now it is necessary to use another piece of software to first trim the files one at a time. Very time consuming.

 Re: Audio Editor
I think most users attach audiofiles (in full length) because they can play the music without having to find the CD and put it on a device. This is much more handy and gives the ability to easily play f.ex. 10 different songs (playlist) from 10 CD's without having the trouble to find those's CD's.
The "preview" would be better handled by an audioplayer with a possibility to play x seconds of a song.

 Re: Audio Editor
Mmm, not sure about that. I don't see users with very large libraries making full length copies of everything. Perhaps they just cherry pick a select few? However, I want to have a complete audio representation of everything and even 30 second cuts takes up lots of disk space. Additionally a 30 second cut is just fine in MP3 where a playlist designed to take the place of the original CD would require a much larger file format to retain the fidelity. A player that plays just a portion of the track wouldn't solve these issues either.
I don't suppose there's much chance that catraxx will incorporate such a feature anyway. It was just a suggestion.
Thanks

 Re: Audio Editor
Actually I think most users have full audiofiles attached to their tracks.
With the current price of disk space, it shouldn't be a big problem having all your tracks ripped in full length, even in a lossless version.
Personally, I have over 33000 tracks attached.
I know of CATraxx users with more that 300000 tracks.
