I often "cut" the ISBN number from another site and then "paste" it in the Book (New Record) ISBN field and then download the book details using Ctrl-G.

I notice that in v10 I am unable to "paste" a fully numeric ISBN (say 9789380340043). However the same ISBN with a non-numeric character in it (978-9380340043) can be pasted and things work fine thereafter.

This inability to paste a numeric value is observed in other fields too: "Title", "LCCN", "Dewey" etc, but not in fields like: Author, Credits, Synopsis etc. There is no problem pasting Alphabetic text.

This was possible in v9 and earlier versions.

Is it a bug or a feature ?

I think the issue is with data from the site (http://www.flipkart.com) where I get the details. I cannot cut-paste any numeric ISBN data from this site to any database, including Sample.

For all other sites it works just fine.
