Post GotoRecord Bug?

When I call GotoRecord on the playlist table, the proper playlist is shown in the top explorer pane and the proper tracks are shown in the tracks grid, but the cursor in the top grid (the playlist grid) doesn't go to the correct line.

I'm still on 8.30.02. Anyone else seeing this?

No. Works fine with v8.30.04 here.

What I see with v8.30.04 is that GotoRecord() works properly the first time it is run after CATraxx is started and no playlist has been manually selected. Otherwise it behaves like Jeff describes.

Ok, try this.

Open the playlist manager view. Fire a GotoRecord call from an external program. Should work as expected.

Now go back to the playlist manager and click on a different playlist in the top grid. Now go back to the external program and call GotoRecord with a different playlist than the one selected. That generates the error every time.

On the attached image you'll see the playlist showing in the explorer and the track listing in is titled "Panic in Detroit . . ." while the playlist selected in the top grid is titled "Living Well is the Best Revenge . . ." (You'll also see my impeccable taste in music ;))

[ah, I see Dave got his reply up before mine. Darn phone. I hate when work interferes with life.]

Works fine here. Can you reproduce it with the sample database?

Sorry Guys, it works as expected.

I can't reproduce Jeff's problem.

Jeff, you can try the new version of HAPdataServer to test if that works for you.

Well, Dave is seeing it, too, so it's not just my problem. I can't try your dataserver because I haven't upgraded yet and won't until I can re-write my programs.

Oh, I see. You are not on 8.30.03.
It's very strange. I wonder which version Dave is on.

It could be a version problem.

It also would be nice, if you and Dave could put in some indication as to which version you are on. That would make life easier.
