Version 7 Feature Request
Hi Fredrik,
I know this has been requested in the past but I thought I would bring it up again now you are working on version 7.
Could we possibly have Dialog Language and Audio as 1 linked table so that we can enter English - Dolby 5.1, Spanish - Dolby 5.1, Slovene - Dolby 2.0 etc?
Also how about a table for Hard of Hearing subtitles as these are being listed separately from standard subtitles more and more often.
Thanks for considering.

Hi Ian,
I agree that the combination of Dialog Language and Audio would be very useful in several cases. But I can also foresee a serious problem... how could the software automatically convert the existing data to the new format?
As for "Hard of Hearing" subtitles... that's easy to solve. Just add things like "English For Hearing Impaired" as a separate line in the current Subtitles table.

I'm not sure about this, I guess we would have to start from scratch , but this is something I'm prepared to do as it would make my catalogue more accurate.

I do this already. But as you often get 2 or 3 "Hard of Hearing" subtitles in different languages which are increasingly being listed separately from standard subtitles, I would prefer to have these listed in their own table.
