 Chicago Style Notation
I have modified the xsl sheets for the book browse and book templates to show Chicago Style Notation for each book. However I am having trouble placing the author in the format of Surname, First Name. The only method I have found puts the name in the wrong order, meaning I have to edit it after copying. Is there any way of fixing this?

 Re: Chicago Style Notation
Ciao Peter, I'm not 100% sure but it sounds like you have to "call" the Person's "Sort by" instead than his "Name".. Fredrik will surely help you soon ! Have a nice day.

 Re: Chicago Style Notation
G'day Mario, I tried to find a way to use the Sort By, and couldn't find one. There is one in the Author Template, but I am not sure about the Book template. Peter

 Re: Chicago Style Notation
1. Download http://www.fnprg.com/userforum/bookcat_common.zip2. Open the zip file and unzip Common.xsl to the \BookCAT\Explorer Templates folder. 3. Use the "showsortby" parameter when calling the "format-author" template, for example:

Fredrik, I needed to play a little with the original "Common.xls" file here but I noticed the warning: - <!-- DO NOT MODIFY THIS FILE -->Since I never saw such a warning before, I quickly gave up... Hope that means I'm learning something... Thanks a lot & take care.

Yes, you should not modify Common.xsl as the setup program will overwrite this file when you install a new version.
