Does it make any difference if you close the track and/or explorer preview pane?

No difference here. Note however that I cannot reproduce this problem in CATvids.

If you hit Ctrl+E, does this open the playlist selected in the browse list, or the one displayed in the preview pane?

Ctrl+R causes both the preview pane and browse list to display the record at the top of the list.

Some more info - when the bug has been triggered (i.e., when the grid isn't responding to GotoRecord), clicking on the selected row fixes the bug. I also saw once an error relating to "absolute row" or something like that.

When you tried to select the first record in the list?

Problem is, I don't recall what the state was when I saw this, and I haven't had time today to wipe my own . . . well, to do anything I'm so darn busy with work.

Please try this debug version: http://www.fnprg.com/tmp/catraxx_debug.zip

With the sample database and albums sorted by Artist+Released:

1. Select album 21.
2. Run GotoRecord 23.
3. Mouse click on album 21.
4. Run GotoRecord 23.

@Fredrik -

That works for me (the album view). It also seems to work in the playlist view, but now I get the following error when ever the "Surprise me! - 1 Random Album" playlist is selected (through COM or the GUI).

Should I still send the debug file? [nevermind, I sent it]
