Would it be possible to add two new fields like the one for Cover Price.

Cover Price has two boxes, one for the value and one for the currency type.

I also record Purchase Price and Current Value and it would be nice to have a currency type for those as well. Certainly Purchase Price as a lot of my books are acquired abroad.

Actually having these two fields added or adding a couple of custom fields for this purpose would be wonderful.

I recommend you convert the purchase price to your "own currency" using the exchange rate of the day of purchase. If not, calculating the total purchase price, for example, would not work.

I think you misunderstood. I wasn’t asking for a conversion factor to be added simply two new fields like the one for Cover Price.

Cover price is a multi box field one for the value and one for the type of currency.

If you added in two new ones then I could select the currency whether it was foreign or not. The conversion value would be my problem at entry time.

Now all I can do is enter a number in a custom field and that is ambiguous.
