Post Adding Data fields

I have been trying to add more data fields to my Stamp Cat as I have run out of custom drop down fields. Your manual states a way of adding fields but I cannot get a drop down list nor can I seem to create another catalogue no. field. I am trying to add an alt catalogue field section for cross referencing purposes i.e. a Stanley Gibbons section to offset the Scott numbers.

How can this be done, as I seem to only get tick boxes when creating another field using the field insert button.

I'm afraid you cannot add /NEW/ fields. "Insert" will only let in add standard/custom data fields not already added to the form.

Well then, the manual is somewhat deceptive with the following text for the field object type that you are supposed to be able to add to a form (page 18 of your manual). You may want to correct this.

"This is the form object you will use the most. When you add a data
field, the user interface control for the selected field is added to the
form. The control type depends on the actual type of field. For a
standard text field (for example Face Value or Custom 01) this is a text
box, for a lookup field (for example Country or Custom 08) this is a
drop-down list, and for a checkbox field (for example Duplicate) this is a
checkbox."
