Post Is there a way to put Start and Stop times for VHS?

I've searched and also tried working with the add a box features, etc. My problem is this.
We have many VHS Tapes and although you have the Speed Box I can add, I need to add the the Start and Stop counters for each movie on those Tapes.
It would be nice if I could add such a thing in my Library View, but really almost anywhere if I can have the option to include that in a report view just as i do the Reference Numbers.

If I have overlooked this feature being addressed, I apologize and would appreciate being pointed in the right direction.

Thanks for a great program that has more than surpassed the old one I used to use before those folks left so many hanging in the wind. (I can't even remember the name of that one anymore.) :)

There is a "Counter Start" field, and a "Counter Stop" field. Have you disabled these fields in the Database Setup window?

When you create a new standard database these two fields are located on the Library tab, right below Recording Speed and Date Recorded:

Thank you so very much for showing me where to find that. I was unable to get the db to see the changed setting, so I just created a new one with proper defaults and transferred everything over.

I have just recently been making the effort to learn some of the many wonders of this program instead of just entering minimal movie info and promising myself to learn more later. Later has finally arrived!

Yes you should also look at the Video Section under disc/tape where if you have a tape with same number and check recordable and other info like Free time speed you can get a fair approximation of how much is left on the tape to record.
