Post How about importing OTS type files?

Fredrik, did you ever consider an OTS file type import option?
OTS is a "MP3 container" that typically contains all mp3 files belonging to one album (CD/LP etc). I have OTSDJ (http://www.otsdj.com) and made it a habit to put mp3 files together in one OTS album. This includes specific album attributes as well as attributes per item plus the album cover...

I'm not sure if its feasible (depends on number of users too I guess), but rather than exporting all these back into folders and then import them in CA-Traxx this would be a cool option....

Thanks,

Marcel

This would be a nice feature to have

Post OTS studio now free

The software that can create OTS files (for OTS apps) just became freeware officially: OTS Studio.

Post OTS files

Fredrik, is it still on the list? It would make my day if you'd look into it.
All my MP3's are embedded in OTS files, for use in my OTSAV broadcast software.

It would be so cool if I just could cat them directly into CATRAXX.

Marcel.

from the OTSLABS site:
About Ots Studio

Ots Studio is a free application which allows for the creation and manipulation of Ots Media Files. With Ots Studio you can create Ots files directly from audio CDs, and from MP3 / MP2 / MPEG1-video / MPEG2-video / unencrypted VOB, and a whole host of file formats when the relevent DirectShow filter is installed on a system. You can also edit most aspects of Ots files, including title and artist information, mix points, auto beat mixing points, album coverart, aspect ratio, etc.

Ots Studio is likely to be of most benefit to those who use other Ots-file-based products, such as OtsAV DJ, OtsAV Radio or OtsAV TV. However, it can also be used as a stand-alone ripper, and is able to output to standard MP3 files.
