Thanks for adding the Box Set table. I couldn't find any documentation on the "Split Discs" function, but I was able to figure out how to use it to split one media entry at a time. (I tried selecting all media entries for an album, but only the first entry became a new album.)
Please consider adding the following fields/entities for Box Sets:
Appraisal tab (especially the Purchase Price field);
Catalog Number;
Label;
Format (dropdown list);
Total number of tracks (calculated field);
Total playing time (calculated field);
Number of discs (calculated field).

I would find it a lot more useful if we could just set up parent/child relationships between individual releases instead of having a separate table for "box sets". If we could enter the "box" as the parent and the individual releases contained in the box as the children, then the box sets would show up in the release list automatically -- which is how I think most people would expect them to work. That'd also make it easier to add things like bonus 7"s that come with LPs, etc. (LP as the "parent" entry, with tracks and cataloging information, and the bonus 7" as the "child" entry, also with tracks and cataloging information).

As currently implemented, the "box set" is really more of a Discogs-style "master release"...which is useful for its own sake but which doesn't really let you actually catalog box sets properly.
