...special characters.

Since it has been a while since my las post I would like to thank Fredrik for his hard work he has made with all the family of FNPRG software.

My problem started somewhere in time I cannot remember and affects all the software from FNPRG i have licensed (Catraxx, BookCat and Catvids). Simply... none of the special characters (including questions mark, accents, symbols (like &) works at all.

Rest of the software works ok with keyboard (this is just an example / '?¿ since I am using now the same PC), but not with the FNPRG family.

I run Windows XP (Spanish) SP3.

Can you *paste* (instead of typing) text into the data fields? Does this problem also affect the explorer preview pane?

That's what I've been doing when I want to use special characters, or bold, italics, etc. - I just type it in Word or if needed, One Note, then copy and paste it into my entries.

Go into Windows Control Panel under "Regional and Language Options" and check the settings on the Languages and Advanced tabs.

Um, thanks FredrikN, but I was actually agreeing with your response Altair to just copy and paste text you want to make text bold, or put it italics, etc. and/or use special characters. Just wanted to show him (her?) that copying and pasting works, at least for me. Basic keyboard command like question marks and such are typing in fine so my setting must already be correct.

I didn't actually have a problem, but thanks for the suggestion anyway!

Sorry for the delay in the update but I was away during my vacation... and with no internet access...

I cannot understand anything. Suddenly (exactly the same way the problem came) i cannot reproduce the problem.

All the FNPrg programs work ok. Even CatVids (it was the program where I found mostly this problem because the memo fields I use).

Sorry for this. I will report if it came again.
