Video View
From the Video View you add and edit videos. You can use
filters to only display specific videos, for example only DVDs or
videos purchased this year.
In this example the grouping list to the left shows the various
media formats (DVD, Blu-Ray, etc.) in the database (you can group on
almost any data field). Simply click on a format description to
display videos in this format. |

Lookup View
(Person)
From the Lookup View you edit data in the various
lookup tables (Person, Format, Genre, Keyword, Series, etc.). Here
we are browsing the Person lookup table (actors, directors, writers,
etc.).
CATVids uses a relational database model. CATVids automatically
creates a link between the video and the entry in the lookup table.
When you edit the lookup table, for example, to fix a typing error,
the change will be reflected in all fields that are linked to the
lookup table. |
 |
Lookup Edit
window (Person)
In the Person table you can store actor profiles,
biographies, as well as pictures and links to web sites. |
 |
Lookup Edit

You can set up your own genres by editing
the Genre lookup table. |
