To assign a template to existing segments

1.In the 'Contents Edit' window, choose Template from the Contents menu.
 
You see the 'Contents Template' window.
2.Modify the template information as necessary.
3.Choose Assign to Segments from the Template menu.
 
You see the 'Assign Template to Segments' window.
4.From the list, select the segments you want to assign the template to.
 
To select all segments, right-click and choose Check All from the popup menu.
 
To unselect all segments, right-click and choose Uncheck All from the popup menu.
5.To keep all information in multivalue fields that is already registered for the selected segments, select the Keep existing check box.
 
If not, CATVids deletes all information in multivalue fields (fields that can contain multiple items, for example Credits, Keywords, or Awards) before the template is assigned.
6.Click the OK button to assign the template to the selected segments.
