The new Quick Search feature on the toolbar in the main window is a quick and easy way to lookup information.

The Quick Search function will search the records you see in the browse list. By default, it will only search the text fields (standard text, lookup and memos) visible in the list. You can also search all text fields in the table, if you prefer this (however, this is slower). You select this from the drop down menu linked to the Search button on the Quick Search toolbar:
