CATraxx lets you export data to the standard Windows CD Player application. This feature is useful if you want to use this CD player instead of the CATraxx CD player.
The disc data is stored in a file called CDPLAYER.INI, located in your WINDOWS folder. This file contains the MS Disc ID (used to locate the correct disc data when you play a CD), Artist, Title and the track titles.
CATraxx will only export discs with a valid MS Disc ID (CATraxx creates this ID when you scan a CD). If the disc is already in CDPLAYER.INI, CATraxx updates the information.
Please note that the MS CD Player database is a simple INI file, and is therefore limited to 64Kb. This means that it can only contain information about 150 CDs.
Follow this procedure to export disc data to MS CD Player:
| 1. | Choose Export / CDPlayer.INI from the File menu. |
| 2. | To export the current album, choose Current Album from the sub menu. |
To export the subset (marked albums), choose Subset (Marked Albums) from the sub menu.
To export all albums, choose All Albums from the sub menu.
