To export to text file

1.Choose Export / Text File from the File menu.
 
You see the 'Export to Text File' window.
2.Make your choices on the General tab.
 
Note: Context-sensitive help is available if you click on the ? button at the top of the window and then click the item you want information about.
3.Click the Albums tab.
4.In the File name text box, specify the file you want to export album data to.
5.From the list on the left, choose the fields you want to export.
 
If you do not want to export track information, jump to step 9.
6.Click the Tracks tab.
7.In the File name text box, specify the file you want to export track data to.
8.From the list on the left, choose the fields you want to export.
9.If you want to save the export definition for later use, click the Save button .
10.Click the Start button to start the export process.
