| 1. | Choose Restore Backup from the File menu.
You see the 'Restore Backup from' window. |
| 2. | Select the drive and folder where the backup file is located. |
| 3. | From the list, select the backup file to restore. |
| 4. | Click Open.
You see the 'Restore Backup to' window. |
| 5. | Select the drive and folder where you want to restore the backup to. |
| 6. | In the File name text box, specify the name of the database file. |
| 7. | Click Save.
CATraxx restores the backup and opens the database. |
Note: Since the backup file is a standard zip file, you can also open the backup file with WinZip (or a similar program), and unzip the database file to the desired folder.
Note: This version cannot restore backups made with previous versions (version 3, 4 and 5). To restore such a backup, use the 'Restore Backup Utility', available for download from our web site.
