To add a new track |

| 1. | Bring up the data entry window for the album you want to add the track to. |
| 2. | Click the Add Track button  below the track list (by default, the track list is located on the Tracks tab).You see the 'Track Template' window. Here you can specify information that is relevant to all, or most of, the tracks on the album (for example artist, songwriters and musicians). Note: If the 'Use track template' option is not activated in the 'Options' window, and you want to use a template when registering this album, right-click the track list and choose Add Track - Use Template from the popup menu. For more information about templates, see Working with track templates. |
| 3. | Fill in the information that is relevant to all, or most of, the tracks. |
| 4. | To use the template, choose Use  from the Template menu.CATraxx adds a new track to the album. |
| 5. | Specify the relevant information in the 'Track Edit' window. |
| 6. | To add the next track, choose Add from the Track menu. |
To add the first track to side B (for example on a LP), or the next item (for example CD two in a box set), choose Change Side from the Track menu.
You do not need to manually save the track, CATraxx will automatically save any changes when you choose one of the menu options, or close the window.
