CATraxx lets you specify members of a group. This information is called the lineup. You can use the lineup information when you register credits information like songwriters, producers, and musicians. This is a great time saver!
| 1. | To edit the lineup you first need to open the 'Artist Edit' window. You can either bring up this window from the Artist Lookup View, or simply right-click an artist name in either the 'Album Edit' or 'Track Edit' window and then choose Edit from the popup menu. |
| 2. | In the 'Artist Edit' window, open the Lookup menu and choose Edit Lineup  (or simply press Ctrl+L).
You see the 'Edit Lineup' window.
The list to the left displays the lineup information. You edit the data for the selected person in the 3 fields to the left (Name, Instrument and Member period). |
| 3. | If you have already registered albums by this artist, you can use the Build Lineup function. This function will automatically update the lineup based on musician information already in the database. To use this feature, simply right-click the lineup list to the right and choose Build Lineup from the popup menu. |
| 4. | To add a new member to the lineup, click the Add button below the lineup list (or you can simply press Ctrl+N).
To edit an existing member, simply select the member in the lineup list.
You can use the buttons below the list to move from member to member. The following shortcuts are available: First - F5, Previous - F6, Next - F7 and Last - F8. |
| 5. | Enter the name of the member in the Name field. |
| 6. | In the Instruments field you enter the instruments he plays. |
| 7. | In the Member period field you specify the time period the person has been a member of the band. If the person has been a member in several periods, specify each period separately. |
| 8. | If you need to rearrange the band members in the linup list, you can either use drag-and-drop, or the Ctrl+Up Arrow and Ctrl+Down Arrow shortcuts. |
| 9. | When you are finished editing the lineup, click the OK button to save the changes and close the window. |
