To add a new album

Instead of manually adding the album, you can also query CDDB, read CD-Text from the CD, or use the Vinyl Query function.

1.	Make sure the Album View is active.

Choose Add from the Album menu.

CATraxx activates the Album data entry window. You are now ready to begin adding information.

Notice how the title of the window displays (New Record). This indicates that a new album is added, but it has not yet been saved.

Note: To download CD data from CDDB instead of adding the data manually, insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive and choose Add - Query CDDB from the Album menu. For more information, see Downloading disc data.

3.	Specify the relevant information about the album.

4.	To add the first track, click the Add Track button at the bottom of the track list (by default, the track list is located on the Tracks tab).

You do not have to specify total playing time, CATraxx will automatically add up the total playing time after you have registered all the tracks.

You do not need to manually save the album, CATraxx will automatically save any changes when you choose one of the menu options, or close the window.
