Download from Internet: When an updated dll file is available the
file is now automatically downloaded and installed. You no longer
have to download the setup file, close CATraxx, install the updated
dll and finally restart CATraxx to continue downloading data.

- HTML Export: The HTML Export module has been completely
rewritten. Instead
of having to manually edit xsl templates, you can now easily set up
everything
from within the program without having to even look at the xsl
templates!

- Audio Player: Added an album carousel window allowing you
to view your
collection as album covers in a manner similar to iTunes coverflow.
You can
bring up this window by either clicking the artist name, release
year, label
or genre in the explorer pane.

NOTE: If you upgrade from an older version you need to update the
AudioPlayer.xsl template. For more information, see the

- Audio Player: Added Back and Forward buttons allowing you to
navigate in the
playlist history.
- Audio Player: You can now resize the left section (with the info
panel, playback control buttons and explorer pane).
- Audio Player: You can now hide the info panel (the panel with
the scrolling text above the playback control buttons). Simply
uncheck Info Panel on the View menu.
- Audio Player: The Explorer window opens faster when you reopen
it.
- Audio: Tag: Write: Added a new "Add additional artists to Title"
option. Check
this box to write any additional artists (that is, all artists
except the first one) to the Title tag (after the title) instead of
the Artist tag. You can select whether you want to enclose the
artists with square brackets, curly brackets or parentheses.
- Audio: Tag: Write: Added a new "Write/Full Title" option.
Uncheck this box if
you do not want to write the Full Title field to the tag (Full Title
includes Title, Version, Live, Demo, Instrumental, Bonus, and
Hidden).
- Audio: Tag: Write: Added a new "Modify file date when updating
tag" setting. If this is not checked, the file date is not modified
when the audio tag is updated.
- Audio: Tag: Read: Composer is now read from MP4 tags.
- Auto-Organize: For artist fields containing multiple artists,
you can now use
the first artist only by adding "_f" after the field code (for
example "%album_artist_f%" or "%album_artist_sort_f%").
- Data Entry: Split Lookup: Improved handling of artist roles.
- Data Entry: When entering data in date fields, you can now press
"Y" to
automatically select the year part of the field, "M" to select the
month part
and "D" to select the day part. This will speed up the data entry

- Report: You can now add a "%filter%" code to text labels in
order to print the current filter (will include both field, operator

- Export: Text: All album fields under "Track Info" are now
available.
- Redesigned the Page Setup, Print Report and Edit Sort Order
windows.
- As long as you don't edit the Sites menu, the entries on the
Sites menu will
now always default to the standard sites (previously added to the
menu the
first time you ran CATraxx). In the 'Edit Sites Menu' you can now
click the
Reset button to reset the menu to show the default sites.
- As long as you don't manually edit the Report menu, the program
will now
automatically scan the Reports folder and dynamically add all
reports to
the menu. This means that you don't have to manually add the report
to
the menu when you create a new report (just make sure you save it in
the
appropriate folder in the Reports folder). In the 'Edit Report Menu'
you can
now click the Reset button to reset the menu (rescan the Reports
folder).
- As long as you don't manually edit the Search menu, the program
will now
automatically scan the Search folder and dynamically add all saved
searches
to the menu. This means that you don't have to manually add the
search to
the menu (just make sure you save it in the Search folder). In the
'Edit Search Menu' you can now click the Reset button to reset the
menu
(rescan the Search folder).
- Data Server: Added a GotoRecord method. Call this method to
select a
record in the browse list. The correct view is automatically
activated.

You can now set the album, track and playlist genre to the same
as the artist genre from the Artist/Person view. You can process all
artists, or just a selection, and you can choose whether the
existing genre should be overwritten or not. For more info, see

The program will now automatically set the genre to the artist
genre (if this has been specified) when adding a new album, track or
playlist. If you want to disable this, choose Tools/Options/Data
Entry and uncheck 'Automatically set genre to artist genre'. When
downloading data from the Internet, or reading data from audio file
tags, the genre is most likely already filled in. To overwrite this
genre with the artist genre, choose Tools/Options/Data Entry and
check 'Overwrite existing genre'.

Default values: You can now set up default values also for fields
in lookup tables (for example Artist.Type).

Audio: Auto Organize: If track count > 99, the Index field will
now use 3 digits.

Audio: Auto Organize: You can now use the Position field
("%position%") in the filename format. The track position combines
Item, Side and Index. For example: "4" (track #4), "B2" (track 2 on
side B), "2-1" (track #1 on item #2) or "2-B1" (track #1 on side B
on item #2). Item and Side are not included if the album has only
one item or one side.

- Explorer: The home page now shows the "pick of the day" (a new
album is selected each day).
- Explorer: Audio: The home page now shows number of plays grouped by
artist, track and album - both for the last 30 days and all time.

- Explorer: The play history list is now sorted in descending order
(newest date first).
- Audio Player: You can now select your favorite playlists directly
from the toolbar.

- Capitalization: The program will now take the words in the

- Audio: Attach: In the 'Attach Audio Files' window you can now
specify whether the program should attach audio files to all albums,
marked albums (the subset), or the selected albums in the Album
View. This is useful, for example, if you have an album on both CD
and LP, but only want to attach the audio files to the CD.
- Audio: Attach: There is a new 'Exclude folders already in
database' option. When this is checked, the program will simply skip
all folders that contain audio files already linked to the database.
This can greatly speed up the scan process.
- Audio: Auto-Organize: Instead of selecting whether to process
all albums/tracks, the subset, or the selection directly from the
menu, you now select this in the 'Audio-Organize Audio Files'
window.
- Audio: Auto-Organize: You can now use only the year part of a
date field by adding "_year" after the field name. For example
"%album.released_year%".
- Audio: Auto-Organize: If the album contains more than 9 discs,
two digits are now automatically used for the %disc#% field.
- Audio: Auto-Organize: The file date is no longer modified by
default. If you still want the program to set the file date when
renaming files, open the 'Audio File Options' window, click the Misc
tab and check the 'Modify file date when renaming file' box.
- Audio: Read from Tag: There is a new 'Compare dates' setting in
the (new) 'Read from Tag' window that will instruct the program to
compare the file date against the Tag Read field, and only read data
from the tag if the audio file has been modified since you last read
the tag. In addition, you now specify whether to update all, marked,
or selected albums/tracks in this window instead of from the menu.
- Audio: Write to Tag: There is a new 'Compare dates' setting in
the (new) 'Write to tag' window that will instruct the program to
compare the Last Modified field against the Tag Write field, and
only write data to the tag if you have edited the album/track since
you last updated the tag. In addition, you now specify whether to
process all, marked, or selected albums/tracks in this window
instead of from the menu.
- Audio: Added a Goto Folder command on the Audio menu in the main
window, the Album Edit window and the Track Edit window (you can
also use the Ctrl+F2 shortcut).
- Query Internet: Cover download: The image dimensions (width and
height in pixels) are now shown in the list of available covers.
- Query Internet: Added amazon.co.jp to the list of available
sites (both Vinyl Query and cover download).
- Database: Added Genre and Sub-Genre fields to the Playlist
table.
- Database: Added two new fields to the Play History table: User
and Computer. When the play history is updated, the Windows user
name and the name of the computer the track is played from are now
stored in the Play History table.
- Database: You can now search, filter and group on the Play
History (play date), Play History - User and Play History - Computer
fields.
- Data Entry: Set Field Value: You can now specify whether to
process all, marked or selected records from the 'Set Field Value'
window.
- Data Entry: Set Track Index window: Increased the width of the
Index column.
- Images: You can now tell the program to use the artist sort name
when generating image filenames (for example "Cure, The" instead of
"The Cure"). In the 'Options' window, open the Multimedia group,
then check the 'Images/Filename - artist sort name' box.
- Explorer: Set personal rating/genre: The currently 'active'
rating/genre is now highlighted on the popup menu.
- Explorer: Audio Player: Some minor modifications: The songwriter
roles are displayed and all names are shown in bold text.
- Explorer: Original by field is now displayed in the preview
pane.
- Browse list: For date fields that also include the time (Last
Modified, Last Played, etc.) you can uncheck the 'Include time'

- Report: Added a new album overview report sorted by release
