• You can now automatically organize external image files into a folder structure and filename format of your choice based on information in the database. To use this feature, choose 'Auto-Organize Image Files' from the Tools menu.
• The folder and filename setup used by the 'Auto-Organize Image Files' function is also automatically used if you have chosen to link to external image files: When you download cover art/read cover art from audio file tags, when you paste an image into the image field/drag an image from the web browser, and when you use the 'Extract images' feature. To edit this setup, choose Tools=>Options=>Multimedia, then click the 'Images/Filename setup' button.
• If CATraxx is unable to locate external image files because you have moved the files, you can use the new 'Locate Missing Image Files' function available on the Tools menu. This will scan the specified drive/folder and attempt to locate the missing image files.

9.05 - March 24, 2011

• You can now specify the Amazon site to go to when you select "Buy from Amazon" (from the Sites menu, the Want list, or the explorer). Choose Tools=>Options=>Internet to select site.
• Audio: Tag: Write: Artist name no longer split up if name contains a slash (for example "AC/DC").
• Audio: Tag: Write: Added the ability to temporarily disable code in the 'Customize Tag Write' window (simply uncheck the box next to the tag name).
• Audio Player: Added the ability to display the playlist track index (you can disable this by right-clicking the playlist, and unchecking the Index option on the popup menu).
• Data Entry: Set Field Value: You can now use this function to update "role" fields (for example Composer, Conductor, Recording Location, or Producer).
• Data Entry: Set Field Value: Added a 'Remove existing data' option for multivalue fields (for example Artist or Keyword). Check this box if you want to remove all existing data in the field before the new field value is saved.

• Audio: Bitrate for APE and FLAC files now calculated the same way as in version 8.
• Audio: Tag: Write: The album title is now written to the album title tag by default. If you would like to write the disc title instead, select the 'Disc Title' template in the 'Customize Tag Write' window.
• Audio: Drag to player: Fixed some issues with dragging tracks to the audio player (both the CATraxx Audio Player, and any 3rd party player). By default, you must hold down the Alt key to able to drag to the player. If you want this to be the default drag operation, check the "Default drag to audio player" option in the 'Audio File Options' window. Note that if this option is checked you must hold down Alt to drag tracks to the 'Manual Playlists' window, or to drag tracks from one playlist to another.
• Exported M3U playlists no longer saved with UTF-8 encoding by default (incompatible with some players, eg. Windows Media Player). To enable this, check the "Save M3U playlist as UTF-8" option in the 'Audio File Options' window (should only be necessary if the audio file names contain Unicode characters).
• You can now drag box sets from the Box Set View to the 'Manual Playlists' window.
• You can drag box sets from the Box Set View, and tracks from the Playlist View and the Playlist Track View, to the audio player.
• You can drag tracks from the 'Manual Playlists' window to the audio player.
• The title of the open playlist in the 'Manual Playlist' window is now shown on the statusbar of the main window.
• Explorer: Custom memo fields now only shown if field actually contains data.
• FIXED: Problem activating registration key ("Incorrect length" error).
• FIXED: Scan image: Problem with colors in scanned image on some systems.
• FIXED: Not possible to delete records if list layout selection setting was set to "None".
