To add a new section

1.Bring up the data entry window for the book you want to add the section to.
2.Click the Add button at the bottom of the contents list (by default, the contents list is located on the Contents tab).
 

 
About templates:
 
If the 'Use contents template' option is activated in the Options window, you see the 'Contents Template' window. Here you can specify information that is relevant to all sections (or most of the sections) in the book.
 
If the 'Use contents template' option is not activated and you want to use a template when registering this book, right-click the contents list and choose New - Use Template from the popup menu instead of clicking the Add button.
 
To use the template, choose Use from the Template menu in the 'Contents Template' window.

3.BookCAT adds a new section to the book.
 
Specify the relevant information in the 'Contents Edit' window.
4.If the book contains more than one section, choose Add from the Contents menu to add the next section.

You do not need to manually save the section, BookCAT will automatically save any changes when you choose one of the menu options or close the window.
