The new data fields are not automatically added to the data entry windows when you upgrade from version 6. You can either manually add them using the Form Designer, or load a standard form layout file:
| 3. | Start BookCAT, and choose Tools->Database Setup. |
| 4. | Make sure Book is selected on the Tables tab, then click the Form Designer button. |
| 5. | Choose Load from File from the File menu, select the BookCAT_DataEntryBook.fla file, then click Open. |
| 6. | You want to keep the existing field names. Therefore, click Yes. |
| 7. | Choose Save from the File menu, then Close Window. |
| 8. | Select the Contents table, then click the Form Designer button. |
| 9. | Choose Load from File from the File menu, select the BookCAT_DataEntryContents.fla file, then click Open. |
| 10. | You want to keep the existing field names. Therefore, click Yes. |
| 11. | Choose Save from the File menu, then Close Window. |
| 12. | In the 'Database Setup' window, click OK. |
Please note that when you load form layout from file, the existing layout will be overwritten. This means that if you have customized the data entry layout and want to keep this layout, you must manually add the new data fields using the Form Designer.
